Regrooving tyres. Regrooving of tyres should be carried out when the depth of the original tread has worn down to between 3mm and 4mm and in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. It is legally acceptable and safe to regroove tyres for the following vehicles as long as the original tyres were suitable for regrooving:
